we're expecting!!!! and trip to the city~

Surprise, you didn't know....did you that we are expecting! We are so excited, it's going to be a big adjustment for all of us to have a little one around here again; and it's a girl!!!  My poor hunny out numbered by girls again!

Yup, so our life is going to change, we are going to be busy around here, that's why we are trying to get all of our projects done around here! It's crunch time; it won't be long and she will be here!

one of these little blonde beauties is going to be ours; these are just the girls, Mom had 8 all together! They are so adorable, they are yellow labs born on May 5th.  She will be able to come home the week after Father's Day; so that we are trying to get our projects done. It's been 3 years since we have had a dog; we had a German Shorthair, Sissy, for 16 years! Beka is SO excited, she can hardly wait to have her sweet little pup at home!

So yesterday, both hunny and I took a half day off and off we went to the "city" to buy our material for the mud room and stop at Petsmart and buy some baby toys and supplies; oh and quick trip to Michaels to get some more supplies to make some clay tags. :)

I didn't go with any of my paint choices that I showed you; it's going to be a surprise...do you like surprises????

Also, I don't know if you have heard too much about the flooding in the midwest along the Missouri River, but here are a few pictures from the "city" which is right along the river!  It's amazing how much water; very scary and I feel so bad for the people that have to worry about their homes being taken over by water. They are talking that we will have this flooding for months! There are whole towns that are evacuating; I just couldn't imagine!

This is a YMCA that is sandbagged all around it!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am hopefully going to get alot done this weekend on the mud room!

OMG, flooding is the worst. We lived in New Orleans for many years, and we had street flooding a lot. Fortunately, we lived on a street that was high and dry, even during Katrina. I'll say a little prayer for the people affected in the Midwest.

Congratulations on the new baby girl puppy!! Can't wait to see more photos of her!

The flood photos are just so awful. We have friends in South Dakota who are in the middle of terrible flooding. I can't imagine having to evacuate!!

Floods are so scary to me. Thankfully we live on a high part of the city.
Stay safe.
Puppppppies!!!! how cute! We just saw an adorable 9 week old yellow lab at the beach the other day and I was getting the "baby" itch.
Enjoy your Sunday.

How scary all that flooding must be! Those pictures are just crazy. I hope the damage does not get real bad.

I couldn't imagine having to evacuate my home. Hoping that things get better soon in that area.

You must be so excited for the new puppy. They are all adorable. Good luck finishing up your projects in time :)
