pb inspired painted flag pillow~

I love Pottery Barn and am super excited when i receive a catalog in the mail. I scour the catalog for inspiration as does every one else! I even keep them forever, if you are looking for a Pottery Barn catalog from April 2008, I am sure I have it!

Anyway, I have seen this pillow and LOVED it, would love to own it, BUT, I also think that I can make it!

Mine is smaller and a little different, but I like how it turned out! It was super easy, I had all the supplies on hand.  I used a 12 x 16 pillow form and I had the canvas material and also the paints. I used a star stamp for my stars.

I had a couple of other 4th of July projects I wanted to get done, but haven't. I guess if anything, I will have my pillow out for my decor!  Oh, do you see that blue clay tag on the candle?  Yes, that is another project started.  They are super cute clay tags in turquoise with a teeny tiny star fish on them! I love them and plan on making more on white clay. I think that they will look so cute with a "beachy" theme decor.

And since you haven't seen Bailey today, .....

Isn't she just so cute, now if she was just potty trained! She is doing pretty well and she didn't cry all night last night; which is GOOD! We need to teach her how to drink out of her bowl and not try and swim in it! :)

Have a great rest of the day!

Oh my goodness is that puppy cute!!! For house training, try putting a bell on the door that you use and always use the same door when taking her out. Just some hints. We trained our puppy and it didn't seem to take too long. I love the pillow too, what a fun craft to do with my little one.

Love your little pillow but the star of this post is that little doggie! What a pretty color...you picked out a good one. I remember when we got our dog the first few nights were hard. She did a lot of howling. We resorted to wearing ear plugs to bed for about a week! Don't know what we would do without her now...have fun with your new baby!

Love the pillow and LOVE the puppy!! Our kids have been begging for one for a while now, I used my youngest as an excuse for a long time (didn't want to take care of TWO babies), but now that he's 3 and potty trained it's not sounding as good as it used to ;)

I love how the pillow came out and so patriotic. BTW, Bailey is adorable. We have a 4 year old yellow lab named Holly. She used to blow bubbles with her nose in the water dish LOL. Bailey will bet potty trained...no worries. Labs are so smart. Stopping by from The Girl Creative linky party and your newest follower.

Here is what I shared this week: http://craftybrooklynarmywife.blogspot.com/2011/06/summer-pillows.html

Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!
