christmas tour 2012~
I have finally gotten around to getting most
of my decorating done.
I am one of those that is running around sticking
a decoration here and there right up
before my family comes on Christmas Eve.
I always say to myself...quit it......
it's fine the way it is....no one even notices...but you!
But, I never listen to myself! :)
Here is what I have done so far..... wink wink....so
come on in!
This is my mudroom, love my mudroom...this where everthing is dropped...
and hopefully coats are hung up and always lots of pillows! :)
This little table will get some tweeking before the end of the
week, I am sure! :)
we just recently....(well, not we...I ) painted the door
that goes out to the garage with chalkboard paint. I have the door
that goes to the basement in chalkboard paint, but Beka and her friends
love to decorate it, so I wanted one of my own. :)
I bought my boxwood wreath from decor steals ! Love
them and have bought several things from them...would recommend!
the kitchen, not much happening here. I used just a few things and
my little wreath with some left over red ticking material for the bow.
I kind of have a thing this year for pinecones.
They seem to be in
every room.
Lots of pillows around....of course!
The tree is new this year. It's from Balsam Hill.
My tree that we normally have used forever was ruined in
our yucky sewer backup in the basement.
It broke my heart to lose my Christmas tree, you see,
my Mom bought that for me for my 2nd Christmas
with my hunny; and my Mom is no longer with us, so it was
sad to have throw my tree away!
I decided to go simple this year with decorations. I did some
pinecones(told ya!) and birds, some glittery reindeer, and some
snowflakes. I finished it off with button garland.
Love this little birdy!
even some homemade pom poms are on
the tree
Hot chocolate bar on the buffet.
a candle burning especially around this time of year.
an etsy shop. She made this awesome candle. This one is
mistletoe; smells wonderful!!! Love it
so much I just ordered 3 more! :)
lighted garland on the hutch.
master bedroom...I think this pillow is probably my favorite
pillow of the season.
I hope you enjoyed the Christmas tour of
my home. I wish all of
you a Blessed and Very Merry Christmas!
I want to also I have been very
blessed this year with sales
from my etsy shop!
It has been wonderful and I Thank all
my customers from the bottom of my heart!
I look forward to a fabulous 2013; with new
ideas and new products!

Happy Thanksgiving~
I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.
I feel so blessed and thankful. I am blessed with a wonderful
family and thankful for so much.
My husband will not be able to be with us this year for
Thanksgiving, but we were able to have our Thanksgiving
last week. Beka and I will spend Thanksgiving with
the inlaws. My dear husband will get to spend
Thanksgiving with a coworker who has been
kind enough to invite him into his home with his
family.
We have had so much happen here at home lately, it's been
so crazy. I don't even know where to begin!
Sick dog, sewer backed up in the basement, brother in the hospital....family
pictures......
and it goes on and on.....But, I think
we are finally getting things back to "normal"
around here, just in time to start the hustle
and bustle of Christmas.
I did get out my Thanksgiving decor, the day before
my guest came for our Thanksgiving. :)
We did manage to get some family pictures
taken in amungst the craziness....
I am glad we did it, we haven't had family
pictures done in a long time.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

insta friday~
Happy Friday!
I don't know about you, but I am always ready for the weekend!
This weekend is another busy weekend!
Today is Homecoming, parade, football, and dance!
Beka is excited. :)
I am linking up with Jeannett with
instagram goings on.
If you are on instagram, i am

Bailey got a dear antler. I know....gross huh? :) But I found
out about these on instagram! Ya, she LOVES it, it lasts way longer
than the rawhide chews that are out there, you can
get them at Petsmart.
Made myself a pillow for fall. :) I found this fabric at Hobby Lobby
and i was attracted to it right away. I love the design and the
orange color.
I have watching these leopard flats from Target forever.
I pick them up, set them down, try them on, put them back....several times.
Finally, picked them and put them in my cart.
Trying to dress outside my comfort zone of tee shirt, jeans and running shoes!
New pillow in the etsy store . This is one of my favorites, I just
love the font.
Watchin tv all snuggly and cuddly. :)
Finally got tired of being sick! I went to the doctor and hopefully
can get over the "crud". Darned allergies!
Have a great weekend everyone! :)

August came and went~
Hi All!
Hope you haven't forgotten who I am!
Boy was August ever crazy...
I have tons of pictures, but they are on my desktop and I can't
access the internet to blog on that computer.....so
these are from my phone. Hopefully I can get that up and
running again soon!
We went on vacation, had a wonderful time. Beka and I
flew to Casper, Wyoming and met up with Rick; he was on
his days off of work.
We took off the next day for Cody, Wyoming
Lots of shopping there....well looking anyway. :)
I could have spent forever there, the shopping was fabulous!
I loved all the southwestern decor! There was so much,
but these are a few of my favorites!
Then we headed on to Yellowstone National Park.
We got to see Old Faithful erupt....twice. Again, I have lots of
pictures from Yellowstone, but they are stuck on my desktop...poo!
After Yellowstone, we went back to Casper where Rick
works and stays for his 2 weeks. He showed us around
and we did some shopping there for the rest
of the week.
Fell in love with these boots!!! Oh my would I had
loved to come home with these....too bad they
were $600.00!!!
lots of glitzy belts!!!
Miss Bailey was glad to have us back home!
School started....can't believe
my baby girl is a Sophomore this year.
Beka and her Bestie
The etsy store has been busy....that always makes me so happy!
We have had some hot dry weather, but we
did finally get some rain.
A girl and her new cowgirl boots...
Miss Beka had a birthday......she turned 15. Wow where does
the time go? Last I knew she was 4 and in preschool!
I wanted to show you my beachy decor out in my mudroom, but all my
pictures are on desktop! I only have a few, but they are not the
best. I have since taken it all down to get ready for FALL!
We were super busy in August, I hope that September slows
down a bit. Fall is my favorite time of year, I can't wait to get
to decorating!
Take care and hope you are all enjoying a nice
long weekend! Happy Labor Day!
