Happy Wednesday!

White Skinnys: American Eagle

I wore these sandals.

Story on the white skinnys.  I bought these probably a month or more ago. I have yet

taken the tags off of them. I can't decide if I look okay in them or not. I

love them on everyone else, but when I look at myself in the mirror

all i see is WOW...WHITE pants! It's just sooo much WHITE!

So, I took the white pants off and put on my denim skinnys and wore them.

What do you think....do I keep the white skinnys? Am I the only

one that feels that way about white pants? Remember I am trying

to step out of my comfort zone and try new things, but I am really struggling

with these white pants!

Yay...it's the weekend and I am so ready for the weekend and a long

one too!

Beka made these delish cupcakes. They were

so good!

Too many cupcakes, had to have some

treadmill time. Note to self...can not

treadmill and take instagram photos!

Watching it rain....

the yard looks as if i sheared a sheep. But

really i furminated Bailey. She is

shedding terrible!

instafriday on saturday~

but you know.....

I am still learning more and more with my

i phone, but I LOVE it!

So, here is what's been going on on my phone.

 Mother's Day. I got to spend a day shopping in the city with Beka

and while your shopping, you need to stop and have frozen

yogurt at PeachWave. So yummy!

Road construction all week on the road that takes

me from home to work! Waiting for a pilot car, uuuhhhgg!

The weather was fabulous the first part of the week

we decided to have supper on the patio. Eventhough

it was just Subway, it was very nice to be outside!

This was the last week of school for Beka

Beka's grade on one of her last tests in Intro to Chem!

We are so proud of her, she has done really well

her Freshman year!

I ordered some new fabric from

Our weather has been fabulous lately, we even had

dinner on the patio on Monday night. It was so nice, even

though it was just a subway sandwich. :)

mother's day~

I have been a mom for

14 years. Believe me, it's been quite a journey,if

you are a mom yourself you know.

That first moment that they place that little

life in your arms and you look down

at that tiny little person, it all begins.

 Life as a Mom.

I remember the day I became a Mom

like it was yesterday; Sunday August 24, 1997.

I woke up at 3:00a.m. and knew that something

was going on! I quickly woke Rick and said

I think it's time. Right away, like first timers, we

call the hospital in a frantic! They calmly said, "how many minutes

are they?" Well, of course,

it wasn't time and were told to relax and keep them

posted.  I went and layed on the couch and Rick

goes back to bed....WHAT? I thought...we are having a baby

and you are going back to bed!

I saw the sunrise that day, it was beautiful.

When things were progressing, my sweet husband

says to me, "it's a beautiful day to have a baby".

We made it to the hospital, almost too late! It's a good thing

we were only 4 minutes from the hospital, because that's

what the contractions were apart!

At 2:53p.m. we were blessed with our sweet baby girl

all 7lbs 2 oz and 19 1/2"long. She was perfect!

Motherhood has been quite a journey, I am not
kidding when I say that it hasn't
been all peaches and cream. It is certainly
a challenge, but we have this
wonderful sweet girl.

She is growing up so fast and has
become a wonderful young woman.  We are so proud
of her and I am proud to be her Mom.
